This page sets out what a reader can rely on before following any link away from this site, and what has to be arranged elsewhere. It does not offer gambling, and nothing described here happens on this domain.
Help Organisations
Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: BeGambleAware, Gambling Therapy and GamCare. Those links sit alongside the site's other links but are not commercial: they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on each organisation's own website. This site receives nothing when a reader follows them. They are named here as sources of independent help and nothing more is claimed about what they do.
Age Restriction
The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page. It applies to anyone reading this site, but nobody's age is verified here: any such check happens at the destination a reader reaches after leaving this site, not on these pages.
Where Account Controls Live
Deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion are all settings inside an account held with an operator. This site has no account, no form and no server-side application behind it, so nothing published here can switch one of those controls on, check its status, or enforce it. A reader who wants any of them has to open an account at the destination reached through an operator link and set them there, under that destination's own rules and checks.
Deciding Before You Start
- Set the amount first. Deciding a figure before starting, and treating it as already spent, keeps the decision separate from whatever happens once play is under way, when it is harder to judge clearly.
- Do not chase a loss. Trying to win back what has gone tends to raise the amount at risk rather than recover it, because the original decision is being replaced by a reaction to it.
- Keep it away from borrowed money. Using money that is needed elsewhere, or that belongs to someone else, turns a loss into a second problem on top of the first.
- Take breaks. Stepping away for a while makes it easier to notice whether the amount and the time spent still match what was decided at the start.
- Bring someone else in early. Talking to another person, or one of the organisations linked above, is more useful before the point where it has stopped being entertainment than after.
What Happens After You Leave
Each operator link on this site redirects to a third party. From the moment that redirect happens, the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here. This site carries no advertising or behavioural profiling network, so nothing on these pages is targeted at a reader based on prior gambling activity.
